Maven Mauve is marvelous! The color is a natural neutral rose. Buildable if you want more intensity. It goes on smoothly and stays on well. No creeping outside the lip line. An excellent everyday color.

USFirst lipstick I've ever been able to use
I have never been able to wear lipstick, even the "hypoallergenic" brands made my throat close up. This is the first lipstick that I have been able to use. I wore it for two days through 3 musical performances and a party and had no reaction. Someone even told me that I looked especially pretty that day. I exchanged "Enchanting" for "Maven Mauve" and am totally satisfied. Maven Mauve is a beautiful neutral pink, goes on smoothly/easily, covers nicely and lasts. Enchanting is a pretty pink shade but much too dark/intense a pink for me - I prefer that my lipstick color doesn't scream out "Hey, I'm wearing lipstick" LOL! I especially want to thank Andrea and the Red Apple Lipstick customer service team for making my exchange so easy and for their help with my choosing a color - Maven Mauve is a winner!!
