Clean Slate is a matte cool toned dark gray with an ever so slight purple tint. It looks amazing with green eyes but complements blue eyes as well. Pair with any of our other grey or silver shadows to create beautiful monochromatic smokey eyes or everyday looks. It also looks beautiful with our shadows in Olive This Color, Violet Vixen, Violet Vintage, Pixie Dust and En Pointe. Finish off your look with a cool toned lipstick or gloss.

USPerfect Match
I searched the internet for hours, if not days, looking for an eyeshadow to match an old Estee Lauder color. After comparing the old shadow to the photos on the Red Apple site, I took the plunge and ordered Clean Slate. It's a perfect match! I'm so pleased. I have blue eyes and white hair, and the color is just right. Thank you!

This is my ?th (more than a few!) purchase of Red Apple Lipstick's 'Clean Slate' eyeshadow. I have fair skin & grey/blue eyes and this shade is perfect for every day. I can apply it lightly or heavier for a little darker shade, either way it's a perfect neutral. The quality is excellent, it goes on nicely with a brush and really does last throughout the day.
USCheap container; streaky application
This color is good and does not irritate my eyelids, but it doesn’t apply evenly. But mainly, for $15, I expected it to come in a better container. It came in a flimsy thin plastic container, the lid is hard to get off and barely protects the shadow. Even the cheap off-the-rack brands come in sturdier, easy to use containers. Very little shadow too. I think it’s probably meant to just be a replacement pod for whatever was used up in one of the 4-pack shadow holders.
